What is CSR-NonProfit Summit?

On 20 & 21 January, 2012, Elon University’s Periclean Scholars program, Comprehensive Rural Health Project (CRHP), and Sosva Training and Program Institute (STAPI) will co-host the CSR-NonProfit Summit in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This two-day invitation-only conference aims to support women’s development in rural India by selectively linking corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to non-profit organizations with demonstrated credibility and success working in rural development. The CSR-NonProfit Summit seeks to generate long-term support for women’s development in rural India by providing opportunities for increased understanding, networking and collaboration between corporations and non-profit organizations.
